Makes enough for 10 guests

To make the Citrus Syrup (makes 750ml)

300ml fresh clementine juice
200ml recently pressed lemon juice
500g fine sugar

For the Cocktail (makes 850ml, enough for 10)

400ml good quality vodka
100ml dry gin
150ml peach liqueur
200ml citrus syrup (from the recipe above)
A few cranberries, as a garnish
Mandarin essential oil, as a final touch

Directions

For the Syrup: Put every ingredients inside a saucepan, heat until it reaches a gentle boil, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Then, take off the burner and leave to cool fully. Pour into a sterilised bottle, cap it keeping it chilled, where it will keep for about a month.

To make Cocktail Base: Combine the specified spirits and syrup into one sizeable container, leave to sit for one hour, then filter it preferably using cheesecloth, so it's completely strained.

When ready to serve: Pour 85ml of your cocktail base to a mixing glass containing ice, and stir carefully for one minute until cold. Filter into a frosted cocktail glass or similar, garnish with the cranberries adding the final touch with a brief mist with the mandarin essence over the drink.
